NWFL: Heartland Queens ready for second stanza – Omaraka

Heartland Queens forward, Endurance Omaraka has expressed the team’s readiness to improve on their performance in the second stanza of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).

The Owerri-based club recorded one win, two draws and four defeats in the first stanza.

Heartland Queens occupy sixth position on the league table with five points from seven matches.

Omaraka assured that the players are determined up their game in the second stanza.

“We look forward to victory against Confluence Queens,” Omaraka told Sports register.

“The first round was very tight for us, and our performance wasn’t the best, but this second round, we are determined to up our game with extra effort.

“That means we will go all out with bigger commitments, starting with this reverse fixture in Kogi.”

Heartland Queens will battle with Confluence Queens in the opening fixture of the second stanza.
