2026 WCQ: Yusuf risks missing Super Eagles vs Rwanda

Alhassan Yusuf could miss Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda after missing the Super Eagles first training Kigali on Tuesday.

Head coach, Eric Chelle, according to SCORENigeria, has insisted that any player who was not part of the first training, will not feature against the Amavubi.

The Super Eagles started preparation for the clash against Adel Amrouche’s side with a closed door training session on Tuesday night.

22 players took part in the exercise which was supervised by Chelle.

Yusuf, who plays for Major League Soccer, MLS, club New England Revolution will join his teammates in camp on Wednesday (today).

The 24-year-old is expected to be part of the team’s evening training session.
