Former LaLiga star, Andrija Delibasic dies at 43

Former Real Sociedad star, Andrija Delibasic, died on Tuesday at the age of 43.

Delibasic passed on after battling with cancer.

He is well remembered in Spain, as he played most of his career for Sociedad, Mallorca and Hercules.

The former Montenegro international battled cancer for several years after being diagnosed with a brain tumor, prior to his death which was confirmed on Tuesday.

Delibasic also played FK Partizan, making 100 appearances and scoring 48 goals between 1999 and 2004.

During his time there, Delibasic also scored three goals in the Champions League, including two against Porto, who later won the tournament.

Following the news of his death, tributes from his former clubs began to flood in on social media.
