NWFL: Danjuma relishes Nasarawa Amazons win over Remo Stars

Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma is excited with his team’s home win over Remo Stars.

The hosts halted Remo Stars Ladies unbeaten run with a 1-0 win at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.

Danjuma said that the win is a testament of their target for the second stanza.

He however admitted that the team still need to improve in attack in subsequent games.

“The victory over Remo Stars Ladies is a very sweet win,”Danjuma stated in a post-match interview.

“We are the one that stop the unbeaten run of Remo Stars Ladies its shows what I’ve been saying let get our house together in the second round though our conversion rate is still the problem as creating chances is an ability now our conversion rate which we working on.

“It was a tough match because they are league leaders but somebody have to win.”
