Abia Angels head coach, Adanna Nnah, has praised Dannaz Ladies for their performance despite their defeat to her side.
The hosts defeated Dannaz Ladies 2-0 at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday.
Nnah admitted that the visitors gave her team a good fight.
“They are a good team and gave a good fight,” Nnah told Abia Angels media.
“We dominated the game by creating chances. Also, getting the goals was key for us because we secured the points, which is very important for us.”
Abia Angels will battle reigning champions Edo Queens in their next league game.
