2026 WCQ: Super Eagles land in Uyo, ready for Zimbabwe showdown

The Super Eagles have arrived Uyo ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday six encounter with the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

Media Talk Africa reports that Nigeria defeated the Amavubi of Rwanda 2-0 in Kigali on Friday night.

The players and their officials jetted into the Victor Attah International Airport on Saturday afternoon.

They moved into the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Ikot Ekpene on their arrival.

Éric Chelle’s side are expected to have a training session at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday.

The Super Eagles will be up against the Warriors next week Tuesday.
