Friendly: Super Eagles to face Russia, Ghana in June

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Russia and Ghana in friendlies in June, Media Talk Africa reports.

The dates for the two friendlies is, however, yet to be decided.

The friendlies will prepare the Super Eagles for their next two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.

Eric Chelle’s side will host the Amavubi of Rwanda in Uyo in September, and then travel to South Africa for a matchday eight encounter in the same month.

The Super Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by Zimbabwe on Tuesday.

The result put a dent on their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
