LaLiga: Sadiq scoops Goal of the Month award for March

Nigeria forward Umar Sadiq has won the LaLiga Goal of the Month award for March, Media Talk Africa reports.

Sadiq’s superb flick in Valencia’s 3-3 draw against Osasuna received the highest number of votes.

The 28-year-old netted a brace for Los Che in the thrilling encounter.

The striker’s first goal of the match came in the 32nd minute.

The former AS Roma player expertly flicked a low cross past the Osasuna goalkeeper three minutes from time for his second of the game.

Sadiq has scored five goals for Carlos Corberán’s side.

He joined Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad in January.
