NWFL: Nasarawa Amazons will get better with more games – Danjuma

Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, has declared that his team will strive to improve with more games.

The Lafia club recorded a 3-0 win against Dannaz Ladies in Lagos on Wednesday.

Danjuma stated that his team is adopting a different mentality in the second stanza by respecting all opponents in order to achieve their target for the season.

“Football is a developmental process. When we play away matches, we don’t rush to win at all costs. Instead, we focus on absorbing pressure,” Danjuma stated in a post-match interview.

“As we approach the second round, we’re adopting a different mentality. We respect every team in the Premier League, recognizing that no opponent is ‘cheap.’ We’re confident in our ability to achieve our goals.

“I didn’t make significant changes to the team because our priority is team building. We’re focused on developing a cohesive unit that can thrive under pressure, whether positive or negative.”

Nasarawa Amazons will face Abia Angels in their next game.
