Al-Nassr set to sack manager over ‘tension’ with Cristiano Ronaldo

Al-Nassr manager, Stefano Pioli, is close to leaving the club due to his damaged relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Pioli was appointed by the Saudi Arabian club in September 2024 following the dismissal of Luis Castro.

Currently, Al-Nassr sit third in the league table, 10 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad, following a run of only two league wins in their last five games.

However, it is not believed to be the results that have put Pioli on the brink, but rather his strenuous relationships with people inside the club.

It is understood that there is a rift between the Italian and Ronaldo, according to SportItalia.

If Pioli is to be relieved of his duties, it is believed that Roma are waiting in the wings to snap him up, with Claudio Ranieri set to leave the Giallorossi at the end of the season.
