Turkey: Osimhen cleared to face Besiktas in Istanbul derby

Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen is available to face Besiktas in Saturday’s Turkish Super Lig encounter.

Osimhen was a doubt for the Istanbul derby after sustaining a muscle injury while on international duty earlier this week.

The 26-year-old has now been cleared to face Besiktas after participating in full training on Friday.

The Nigerian has scored eight goals in his last five league outings for the Yellow and Reds.

Osimhen is currently the leading scorer in the Turkish Super Lig this season ,with 20 goals from 22 outings.

Galatasaray occupy top spot on the Turkish Super Lig table with 71 points from 27 games.
