Arsenal vs Fulham: Saka is ready to go – Arteta

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has confirmed Bukayo Saka “is ready to go” ahead of Tuesday’s Premier League clash against Fulham.

Saka has been unavailable for the Gunners since he injured his hamstring against Crystal Palace in December.

But the England winger has been back in training for weeks and is ready to play again.

Speaking to reporters on Monday morning, Arteta said: “Bukayo is ready to go.

“The careful thing is already done, so now it’s about putting him on the grass in the right moments, but he is pushing because he really wants it.

“We have respected the time-frame, we have done everything, we had to hold him back, so now he is ready to go.”

When asked if Saka could start against Fulham, Arteta replied: “Yeah, yeah.

“He is another massive weapon. We know the impact he has had on the team and how important his role and his contribution is to our success, so great to have him back.”
