NWFL: Danjuma Nasarawa Amazons players for win against Abia Angels

Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, has commended his players for adhering to instructions in their victory over Abia Angels.

The Amazons defeated Abia Angels 2-0 in a Matchday 10 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.

Danjuma also praised Abia Angels for their performance in the game.

“After our 3-0 loss to them in the first round, we knew we had to stay focused against Abia Angels,” Danjuma stated in a post-match interview.

“We created chances in the first half but couldn’t convert them. Our strategy paid off in the second half, and we got the desired result.

“Abia Angels FC is a good side, and they gave us a good fight. However, we dominated the game, created chances, and scored the goals that secured the points for us.”

Nasarawa Amazons will face Confluence Queens in their next league game.
