NPFL: Charles wins Heartland’s Player of the Month award

Emmanuel Charles has been named Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Heartland’s Player of the month for March.

Charles got over 90 percent of the votes.

The midfielder received more votes than Stephen Ezeamaiwe, Terdoo Shimagande, Anthony Omaka, Christian Molokwu, Samuel Agu, Chinedu Ozor and Suraju Lawal to win the award.

Charles was shortlisted for his standout performance in all of Heartland’s six matches in the month.

He will be presented with his award in Heartland’s next home match against Kwara United.

The Naze Millionaires halted their seven games winless run with a 2-0 win against Kano Pillars on Saturday

The Owerri club moved out of the relegation following the win.
