Six players have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Player of the Month award for March.
The shortlisted players are Sunday Megwo (Abia Warriors), Uche Sabastine (Akwa United), Samson Olasupo (Remo Stars), Jean Efala (Akwa United), Joseph Atule (Rivers United), and Ahmed Liman (Sunshine Stars).
Megwo, Sabastine, Atule, and Olasupo each scored three goals for their respective clubs during the month under review.
Liman stood out with four goals for Sunshine Stars, while goalkeeper Jean Efala kept four clean sheets for relegation-threatened Akwa United.
The winner of the award will be announced later in the week.
Media Talk Africa recalls that Abia Warriors forward Antoine Desouza clinched the award in the previous month.
