NPFL: Enyimba still in mix for top-three finish — Eguma

Enyimba head coach Stanley Eguma says his players will give their all to secure a continental ticket, Media Talk Africa reports.

The People’s Elephant rallied from a goal down to beat Abia Warriors 2-1 at the Enyimba International Stadium,Aba on Sunday.

The nine-time champions moved to eighth position in the table following the win.

Enyimba are four points adrift Abia Warriors, who occupy third position on the log.

“The league is still open. As far as I’m concerned, Enyimba are in strong contention,” Eguma said after the game with Abia Warriors.

“Forget our past flaws. We dropped points here against Bayelsa United. In Lagos, we were close to getting the three points but ended up dropping them too. I think we’re learning from those mistakes.”
