Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu has named a 35-man squad for the team’s final training camp ahead of the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The seven-time African champions relocated to Abuja for the training camp on Monday.

The core of the squad comprises players who featured in Nigeria’s victorious campaign at the WAFU B U-20 Championship held in Togo last year. Notable among them are Daniel Bameiyi, Ebenezer Harcourt, Adamu Maigari, Kenneth Igbokwe, and Sabiu Mohammed.

Also included are Sulaiman Alabi ‘Jojo’, Nasiru Salihu, Oliseh Divine, Bidemi Amole, and Clinton Jephta.

Seven foreign-based players have also been called up to join the camp.

The Flying Eagles have been drawn in Group B of the U-20 AFCON, alongside Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.

The tournament is scheduled to commence in Cairo, Egypt, on 27 April.
