Nigerian Army rescues 17 kidnapped victims in Kaduna

The Nigerian Army has announced that its personnel from Section 1, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have successfully rescued 17 kidnapped victims in Kaduna.

The rescued individuals were named as follows: Samuel Ezekiel, Williams Ezekiel, Duza Ezekiel, Ishaku Ezekiel, Sunday Ezekiel, Alice Ezekiel, Victoria Ezekiel, Favor Ezekiel, Rebecca Obadiah, and Blessing Obadiah.

Others include Alheri Obadiah, Gift Obadiah, Jummai Obadiah, Gloria Obadiah, Charity Obadiah, Friday Jessy, and Theresa Friday.

According to the Army, the victims were medically examined and treated, profiled and debriefed, and promptly handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Kaduna State Command, on the same day to facilitate their safe and swift reunion with their families.

This remarkable rescue operation clearly reflects the troops’ commitment and professionalism, whose determination in the face of adversity continues to yield significant progress in the ongoing fight against insecurity in their areas of operation.

“Despite the challenges, the gallant troops’ morale and operational efficiency remain exemplary, which bears eloquent testimony to their dedication to safeguarding lives and restoring peace within the northwest geo-political region,” it stated.
