Calabar set to host Miss Africa 2025 pageant

Abuja, April 15, 2025 (NAN) Organisers of the prestigious Miss Africa pageant, says Calabar, Cross River State is set to host the 2025 edition, which is the 7th in the series.

Mr Femi Oyelade, the Brand Manager, Miss Africa Production who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Tuesday said that this year’s edition is slated for April 20, and is Proudly supported by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Oyelade said the pageant tagged, “Climate Action” is the ultimate celebration of African beauty and culture would feature stunning beauties, each representing their respective countries from across Africa.

“The highly anticipated Miss Africa 2025 pageant is set to take center stage on Easter Sunday, April 20th, 2025, at the prestigious Calabar International Convention Center.

“This Pan Africa event promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the beauty, talent, and cultural heritage of African women. 

“The pageant will feature stunning contestants from across the continent, competing for the coveted title of Miss Africa 2025 with the theme; Climate Action,” he said.

He noted that the Miss Africa pageant had established itself as a premier platform for empowering African women and promoting cultural exchange.

He said that the event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of African unity, diversity, and talent, featuring captivating performances, special guest appearances, and a showcase of exquisite African fashion.

“This year’s event promises to be even more exciting, with a lineup of thrilling music and dance performances, international and celebrity judges, and special guests.
