Posters promoting Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for the 2027 presidency have appeared across the streets of Bauchi, bearing the slogan “Kaura for President 2027.”
The posters were seen at strategic locations including roundabouts, electric poles, and signboards on major roads such as Railway Road, Sabon Titin Karofi, and Kofar Dumi Street.
One of the youths involved in the pasting of the posters, Aminu Auwal, said they were hired by two politicians to do the job.
“We were directed to post the governor’s posters along major streets of Bauchi State. We started the work around 1am today and we are hoping to finish it today,” Auwal told daily trust.
The individuals who reportedly commissioned the work were identified as Ya’u Ortega and Talolo, but efforts to reach them for comment were unsuccessful as their phone numbers did not connect.
