‘Same P-Square who are against APC performed at Buhari’s inauguration’ – Seyi Law

Comedian Seyi Law has berated Nigerian music duo, P-Square, for not supporting President Bola Tinubu’s government.

The comedian, in a recent interview with media personality, Teju BabyFace, accused P-Square of being hypocrites.

Narrating how his colleagues in the industry worked against Tinubu because of former Vice president Yemi Osinbajo, Seyi Law said, “If APC had brought Osinbajo, you would still have used the badge of Buhari to defeat him.”

While reacting to the criticism he faced online and from his colleagues over his support for Tinubu, he noted that P-Square “are actually not saints”.

“The same people who are against the APC today once danced on the stage when Buhari was inaugurated.

“Sometimes these our same colleagues that come out to wave an umbrella today or somehow start to wave cock today or another political party are actually not saints.

“The same people who are against the APC today once danced on the stage when Buhari was inaugurated. ‘E no easy ee ooooo. To sing and to dey dance and the people dey rejoice eee’, they did it for Buhari and today Tinubu is the enemy.

“When these people talk I just laugh because for them they will tell you if it was Osinbajo that APC brought, that we would have supported him. Is he not the same Yoruba man? Stop being hypocrite because all of you knew that if APC had brought Osinbajo, you would have used the badge of Buhari to defeat him.”

Media Talk Africa recalls that in 2015, the music duo performed their hit song ‘E No Easy’ during Muhammadu Buhari’s inauguration as President.

In 2023, P-Square openly supported Peter Obi and performed during the Labour Party’s campaign.
