APC Crisis: Benue APC reaffirms support for Agada’s leadership

The Minority Leader of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Yahaya Zakari Kwarko, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Kwarko, who represents Fagam Constituency, made the announcement during Tuesday’s plenary session of the House.

He said his decision was driven by what he described as the exemplary leadership style of Governor Umar Namadi.

According to him “I have carefully observed the leadership direction of His Excellency Governor Namadi and I am convinced that aligning with the APC will enable me to better serve my constituents,” Kwarko declared on the floor of the House.

Speaker of the House Haruna Aliyu Dangyatum commended the lawmaker for his decision to join the ruling party for the development of the state.
