Tinubu’ll win second term despite Atiku, El-Rufai inciting Northerners – APC chieftain

Tinubu flags-off construction of Calabar-Ebonyi-Benue-Nasarawa-Abuja super highway

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayekooto Akindele, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu will win both North and South in the 2027 presidential election.

Akindele said irrespective of how aggressive former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar incites the North, Tinubu will win in 2027.

Posting on X, he said Tinubu will win by a wide margin.

He wrote: “See, no matter how aggressively El-rufai and Atiku incite the North against Tinubu, TINUBU will still win both the North and the South by wide margin in 2027.”

Recently, Atiku and El-Rufai had announced the formation of a coalition aimed at removing Tinubu from power in 2027.

There has been mixed reactions regarding the coalition with many believing that Tinubu will still clinch his second term.

Last month, Atiku and El-Rufai met with some Northern opposition leaders in Kaduna after a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari.
