Captain Abdullahi Lawal Osabo, Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 401 Special Forces Brigade, Makurdi, stated that the Nigerian Army has taken cognizance of the incident and is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding it. Private Christopher Emmanuel is currently in custody, and the army has assured the public and the victim that justice will be served in line with the military’s high standards.
