The North-Central region can expect sunny skies with scattered clouds, along with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening, while the southern region will continue to experience morning thunderstorms, with more storms expected later in the day.

In light of these predictions, NiMet has advised the public to take necessary precautions, as thunderstorms may be accompanied by strong winds. Residents are urged to secure loose items, avoid driving in heavy rain, disconnect electrical appliances, and stay away from tall trees to prevent hazards from falling branches. Airline operators have also been advised to consult NiMet for updated weather information to ensure safe flight operations. By staying informed and taking necessary precautions, Nigerians can stay safe and prepared for the changing weather conditions ahead.
