A disturbing incident has unfolded in Namibia, where a 65-year-old British tourist was arrested on Sunday for allegedly instructing San children to remove their clothes and taking photographs of them. The suspect, who was on holiday in the country, is accused of touching the private parts of the children and compensating them with money and sweets.

According to Senior Inspector Maureen Mbeha, the head of community affairs in the Otjozondjupa region, the suspect’s alleged actions are a grave concern. "The suspect allegedly touched the breasts and buttocks of 16 teenage girls, while 14 teen boys and three minor boys were allegedly also touched on their private parts," Mbeha stated. The police investigation has uncovered nude photographs of the children on the suspect’s camera, which was confiscated at the time of his arrest.

The suspect had entered Namibia on May 15, 2025, and was expected to enjoy a holiday in the country.
