Disney’s Live-Action "Lilo & Stitch" Premieres in Los Angeles, Bringing a Story of Family and Belonging to the Big Screen

"In our tradition, our children have a lot of aunties and uncles, and sometimes they’re like, ‘Daddy, is that my real auntie?’" Vance explained.

The film boasts an impressive cast, including Tia Carrere, who voiced Nani in the original film and returns as the sister’s social worker. Sydney Agudong praised the opportunity to work alongside Carrere, saying, "I really wanted to get her guidance and her blessing, because she did such a beautiful job and, I mean, it was iconic." Chris Sanders also reprises his role as the voice of Stitch, with Zach Galifianakis and Billy Magnussen joining the cast.
