Jennifer Lopez sued for $300,000 for posting her photos without permission

Popular American musician and actress,
Jennifer Lopez, has been sued for sharing her own red carpet pictures without permission.

The actress was sued for copyright infringement.

Edwin Blanco, the photographer and his agency, Backgrid, claimed that the actress
shared two of their photos without authorisation. He is demanding $150,000 in damages per photo.

In the $300,000 lawsuit, Lopez was accused of using the pictures to boost her brand by tagging her jewellery and clothing designers.

Media Talk Africa reports that Lopez had posted some of her pictures at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on her page.

Captioning the post, he said “GG Weekend Glamour”.

Recall that the actress was also sued for photo rights in 2019 and 2020 after sharing professionally taken pictures without clearance.
