We’re not involved in court case against PDP spokesperson — Kebbi govt

The Kebbi State Government has denied any involvement in the ongoing legal dispute involving the spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Sani Dododo, and one Comrade Mohammed Usman Anache.

In a statement issued on Friday, the government clarified that the matter is a personal dispute between the two individuals and has nothing to do with either Governor Nasir Idris or the state administration.

“We want to make it categorically clear to the good people of Kebbi State that His Excellency, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, is a true democrat who respects the rule of law,” the statement read.

The government further noted that it only became aware of the matter through public discussions and emphasized that it had no role in the court proceedings.

“This administration is not involved in the case and should not be linked to it in any way,” it added.
