Kebbi 2027: Senator Aleiro revalidates APC membership

Kebbi 2027: I remain committed to Tinubu, Gov Idris – Aliero

Former Governor of Kebbi State and Senator representing Kebbi Central, Muhammad Adamu Aliero, has revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at Aliero S. Fada Ward in Aliero Local Government Area, following his recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The re-registration, which took place on Tuesday, drew a large crowd of party supporters and stakeholders, who welcomed Senator Aliero’s return as a significant boost to the APC’s political strength ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking after his registration, Senator Aliero reaffirmed his steadfast loyalty to the APC, as well as to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris.

“I remain firmly committed to the progressive vision of the APC and the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Idris.

“This is not just a registration; it is a renewed pledge to serve the people, promote inclusivity within our party, and strengthen our democratic institutions,” Aliero said.

With the opposition weakened and the APC consolidating its base, political analysts say the stage is set for a high-stake electoral showdown in Kebbi come 2027.
