Why I unfollowed my husband – BBNaija’s Queen Mercy reacts to marital crisis rumors

Former Big Brother Naija reality show housemate, Queen Mercy Atang, has revealed why she unfollowed her husband on Instagram.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the single mother of one got married to David Oyekanmi, her husband, in March 2024.

A few months after their marriage, she sparked rumours of marital crisis after deleting their wedding pictures and unfollowed him on Instagram.

However, speaking in a viral video shared on her page, she noted that the development was to save her marriage.

“I was trying to take my marriage off social media because my husband’s handle is out there, with a lot of ladies sliding in his DM to say both positive and negative things.

“I just want to protect my marriage and reduce some of the things I put out there”, she stated.
