Burkina Faso concert: ‘Burn in hell’ – Burna Boy replies critics

Konga calls out Burna Boy for using his rhythm, demands compensation

Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy has responded to the backlash which followed his proposal to hold a free concert in Burkina Faso.

The response came after critics mocked the initiative and claimed he was allegedly rejected by the President of Burkina Faso.

The Grammy-winning artist in an Instagram Story defended his intentions and criticized those questioning his motives.

According to him, his actions are guided by principle, not personal gain.

Burna Boy said he was shocked by the surprisingly negative and offensive comments from some individuals.

“I have nothing to gain from anybody. I don’t owe anyone anything, but that never stopped me from doing the great work I do. My integrity is unquestionable. Therefore burn in hell if you said anything negative,” Burna Boy wrote.
