Nigeria moved backwards under Tinubu’s presidency – Falz

Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has assessed the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who recently marked his second year in office.

The rapper argued that Nigeria has retrograded under the current administration.

He stressed that not much progress has been made, adding that the President has the remaining two years of his tenure to prove himself.

Speaking in a recent interview on Arise TV, Falz said, “It goes without saying, that more than anything we’ve moved backwards. There is not much progress that has been recorded. I think I remember the campaign slogan being ‘Emilokan,’ which translates to,
‘it’s my turn.’

“And now it just seems like, what were you planning of doing? We are still waiting. It’s remaining two more years. Maybe there is still a plan. But as it stands now, first half, we never see anything.”
