Osun State’s Governor Ademola Adeleke has sent a heartfelt message to the people of his state, assuring them that their sacrifices will not be in vain. This assurance comes as part of his Eid-el-Kabir message, where he also congratulated Muslims in the state and beyond on the spiritual renewal that this moment brings. Governor Adeleke emphasized the importance of using this sacred moment to renew commitments to helping those in distress and supporting community-elevating efforts. He reflected on the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Prophet Ismail, highlighting the value of sacrifices and devotion. The governor noted that just as Prophet Ibrahim’s total submission to the will of Allah was rewarded, the people of Osun will also see the fruits of their labor and devotion.

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, also shared a goodwill message, describing Eid el-Kabir as a time of deep spiritual significance. He emphasized the importance of reflecting on the values of sacrifice, faith, and unity, and urged citizens to foster harmony, mutual respect, and collective progress across religious and political divides. Oyetola commended the resilience and industrious spirit of the state’s residents and paid tribute to the members, leaders, and loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their commitment to the party’s ideals.
The Minister highlighted the significance of reaching out to the needy and upholding the social values promoted by Islam during Eid, emphasizing that sacrifice is not only symbolic but also practical. He prayed for peace and progress across the state and nation, asking for leaders to be granted the wisdom to guide with integrity and compassion.
