APC: Bukar Dalori replaces Ganduje as acting National Chairman – Party chieftain reveals

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayekooto Akindele, says the party’s Deputy National Chairman (North), Bukar Dalori, will replace Abdullahi Ganduje.

Ganduje on Friday resigned his position as the National Chairman of the ruling party.

Although the circumstances surrounding his resignation remain unclear, some sources have attributed it to health reasons.

While Nigerians await an official announcement from the party’s National Working Committee regarding the resignation and the choice of replacement, Ayekooto stated that Dalori will assume the office.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the APC chieftain wrote, “Acting National Chairman of the APC, Ali Bukar Dalori.”

Bashir Ahmad, former media aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, earlier stated that one of the national vice chairmen of the party would succeed Ganduje.

According to him, the successor will function in an acting capacity pending the election of a substantive chairman at the national convention scheduled for December 2025.
