South East’s history of voting against APC will reverse in 2027 – Pro-Tinubu group

A group, South East Renewed Hope Agenda, SERHA, has said that the historic voting pattern which has seen the South East not voting for presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, will be reversed in favour of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

The group made the declaration on Saturday in Umuahia after the inauguration and empowerment of members of SERHA for the 17 local government areas of Abia.

The national coordinator of the group, Belusochukwu Enwere, who posited that the South East cannot afford to remain in opposition again, said that the zone will experience uncommon development if it is among the areas that would deliver victory to Tinubu.

The national coordinator explained that the top-to-bottom approach in vote hunting in the South East may not have achieved the desired results, hence the use of the grassroots strategy by his group in working for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.

He said that the group, which is to be launched in other South East states, would be equipped with every support.

“This approach is a game changer. We are empowering those who are working to make what we are doing grow,” he said.

According to him, the president is transferring political and economic powers to the youth in the country through his unique system of appointments and economic empowerment programmes.

Enwere charged the newly inaugurated members of the South East Renewed Hope Agenda in Abia to hit the ground running by ensuring that President Bola Tinubu will sweep victories in their entire areas.
