PDP crisis: Only Damagum can reveal why he’s confusing, misleading party – Ex-spokesman, Ologbondiyan

Former Peoples Democratic Party National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, has said only the acting National Chairman of the party, Umar Damagum can disclose why he is misleading and creating confusion in the party.

Ologbondiyan said only Damagum can reveal to Nigerians why he is mismanaging the PDP.

Featuring on AIT Focus Nigeria, the former PDP spokesman said it’s time for Damagum to take a seat.

He recalled that the part National Secretary, Sam Anyanwu is in court against the PDP.

Ologbondiyan wondered what Damagum would predicate his decision and that of what he termed “committee of friends” on.

He said: “It’s only Damagum that will come to the public and say this is why I’m misleading the party, this is why I’m not managing the party well, this is why I’m creating confusion in the party, he is the only one that can come out to say what’s responsible for that.

“But what I believe is that if you take the responsibility to hold an office, even as a pupil monitor in the classroom, you owe yourself the responsibility to act on the basis of what is fair, equitable, and just.

“I’m not surprised by whatever is happening, I have said it more than one year now that Damagum should go and take his seat and let Northcentral bring a substantive Chairman.

“The feeling is that PDP will run from one crisis to another and as you can see, they have opened the floodgate of crisis for the party.”
