Time for APC to feel some heat – Dele Momodu on coalition’s adoption of ADC

Veteran journalist and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu, has said it’s time for the All Progressives Congress, APC, to feel some heat.

Momodu made the remark in reaction to the adoption of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, as the official political party of the opposition coalition.

He pointed out that the adoption of ADC has proved critics wrong concerning the seriousness of the coalition.

Posting on Facebook, Momodu maintained that one-party state is a taboo for democracy in Nigeria.

He wrote: “To those who said opposition parties can’t form a formidable coalition, I’m happy they have demonstrated their determination and capacity to reject barefaced oppression and tyranny.

“No one should ever play God over fellow human beings. Live and let live should be our guiding principle in life.

“Kudos to those who worked behind closed doors to come up with this new political configuration. A one party state must be a taboo in a democracy.

“Let APC too feel some heat. After-all, this was how it also came into existence. What happens next is in the hands of God. Congratulations are in order.”
