People never forget how you made them feel – Davido

Famous Afrobeats musician, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has urged the public to be mindful of the emotional footprints they leave behind.

The singer made this known while sharing his thoughts about the power of emotions in human relationships.

While highlighting the lasting effect of how people make others feel, Davido emphasised on importance of empathy and emotional intelligence.

Speaking in a recent post on his Instagram page, the singer noted that one’s actions and words can be forgotten, but the emotional experience will last forever.

“I’ve learnt that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel,” he wrote.

Media Talk Africa reports that Davido spoke amid the ongoing public criticism trailing the death of Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s immediate past President.
