Dakolo, who traveled in business class, emphasized that he witnessed his luggage being loaded onto the flight from Lagos to Morocco but discovered it missing upon arrival in Sierra Leone’s capital. “I was assured my bag would be handled as priority cargo, but it never made it to Freetown,” he stated in the video. Despite filing a report with the airline and reaching out repeatedly via calls and emails, he said there had been no resolution for nearly three weeks. He also mentioned lodging a complaint with Nahco, an aviation handling company, but to no avail.

“It’s beginning to look like they stole my stuff,” Dakolo asserted, urging the airline to expedite the return of his belongings. He stressed the personal and professional value of the items, clarifying, “This isn’t just ordinary luggage.”

The singer’s appeal gained traction after media personality Daddy Freeze amplified the issue on his own Instagram account. In a separate video, Freeze directly addressed the airline, demanding transparency. “Air Maroc, what’s happening with Timi Dakolo’s bag? Authorities need to step in and resolve this,” he said.
