Presidential election: Obi’s outing shows ballot boxes exist on Twitter – Aviation Minister, Sirika

Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation, on Monday, stated that the performance of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has shown that ballots certainly existed on social media, especially Twitter.

Sirika said Obi wouldn’t have displayed a performance as he did during Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections if Twitter was not so important for electioneering.

The minister stated this in a tweet via his Twitter account.

“I think it is wrong to say that there are no ballot boxes on Twitter. There are indeed, huge ones for that matter.

“If there isn’t any, Obi wouldn’t come this far. Social media is the greatest influencer of opinions after good works. Good work plus social media means victory,” he said.

Media Talk Africa reports that other top contenders for the Presidential election are APC’s Bola Tinubu, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and NNPP’s Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
