Presidential election: Confusion as INEC uploads female’s picture on result portal

Hours after Nigerians lamented a picture of a female uploaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as a result in the portal, the Commission is yet to delete it.

Media Talk Africa checks found that the picture is still on the INEC result portal.

The upload was done in Ado Ekiti Local Government Area, Ward ‘B’ Inisa polling unit created on the portal on February 26.

Also, the image’s background indicates the picture was taken in a bathroom.

There have been complaints from a cross-section of Nigerians on INEC’s failure to upload the results.

At the National Collation Centre yesterday, Media Talk Africa reports the agents of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sen Dino Maleye; and Labour Party queried INEC for not uploading results on the INEC Viewing Portal, iREV.
