He added, “If you sign that player, then it’s going to be the difference between mid-table misery or really pushing for that top six. I think if they can get that goalkeeper in, then they can push for the top six.”
Foster’s comments are not surprising, given Manchester United’s struggles in the goalkeeping department last season. The team finished 15th in the Premier League, and their goalkeeping situation was a major factor in their poor performance.
