Nigerian Ruling Party Mourns Sudden Death of Key Chieftain
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Nigeria, has been left reeling from the shocking and tragic death of Olubisi Odewumi, one of its prominent chieftains in the Ife-North local government council area. “The reported death of Honourable Olubisi Odewumi in the early hours of today was devastating to all members of the APC family,” Lawal said. “When one remembers his unconditional contributions and dedication to our party, one would be moved to tears that such an asset could be lost when his wealth of experience is most needed in the interest of our party.”
