ADC Nasarawo Ward Chairman Debunks Suspension and Expulsion Rumors

Coalition: ADC presents membership cards to David Mark, Aregbesola

Alhasan Ibrahim, Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Nasarawo Ward, Gombe State, has categorically denied claims that his office recently suspended or expelled party members. The allegations, Ibrahim asserts, are entirely baseless and misleading, aimed at destabilizing the party and discrediting its acting National Chairman, Hon. Nafiu Bala.

Ibrahim’s statement, released on Thursday, emphasized that neither his office nor the ward executive has issued any suspension or expulsion letters to ADC members. He further stated that there have been no allegations of anti-party activities or offenses that would warrant such actions. The Chairman urged ADC loyalists in Gombe and beyond to remain united, focusing on building a stronger party ahead of future elections.

The claims of suspension and expulsion, according to Ibrahim, were fabricated by Auwal A. Barde, a former ADC member who was expelled from the party several years ago. Ibrahim described Barde’s allegations as a gross misrepresentation of facts, intended to tarnish his image and undermine the party’s stability. “My office is committed to upholding the principles of fairness, transparency, and due process,” Ibrahim reassured, calling on the public to disregard the false claims.

Ibrahim’s denial comes as the party prepares for future political engagements, and the Chairman’s message of unity and focus is seen as crucial in maintaining party cohesion. The ADC has been working to strengthen its presence in Gombe State, and the recent allegations were perceived as a potential setback. However, with Ibrahim’s clarification, the party is expected to continue its efforts to build a stronger, more united front.

In the face of these baseless allegations, Ibrahim’s commitment to transparency and due process is seen as a positive step in maintaining the party’s integrity. As the ADC moves forward, it remains focused on its goals, undeterred by what its Chairman has described as a calculated attempt to undermine its progress. With the party’s leadership united in its vision, the ADC is poised to continue its growth and build a stronger presence in Nigerian politics.
