Big Brother Naija Introduces Nomination Twist

BBNaija 10: 20 housemates face possible eviction for week four

Big Brother Naija Season 10, also known as “10/10”, has introduced a significant twist in its nomination process. After several weeks of having all housemates up for possible eviction, the show’s organizers have reverted to the traditional nomination process. This change allows each contestant to nominate two fellow housemates for potential eviction, giving them direct power to influence the outcome of the Sunday live eviction show.

The new development came as a surprise to the housemates, as they had been informed earlier that all of them would be up for eviction. This marked the first time in Season 10 that contestants have been given the opportunity to directly decide who would face the live eviction show. The nomination process took place in Week 5, with each housemate submitting their choices.

The nominations were as follows: Denari chose Kulture and Kola, while Ivatar nominated Kulture and Thelma Lawson. Koyin selected Isabella and Sultana, and Isabella chose Sultana and Joanna. Faith nominated Ivatar and Daneri, and Thelma Lawson chose Jason Jae and Koyin. Kola selected Jason Jae and Doris, and Imisi chose Faith and Zita. Jason Jae nominated Thelma Lawson and Faith, and Mide chose Zita and Faith.

Other nominations included Tracy choosing Kaybobo and Imisi, Sultana selecting Bright Morgan and Zita, and Mensan choosing Ivatar and Sultana. Dede nominated Sultana and Big Soso, while Zita chose Mide and Daneri. Big Soso selected Dede and Ivatar, and Kulture chose Ivatar and Faith. Doris nominated Thelma Lawson and Tracy, and Bright Morgan chose Faith and Zita. Joanna selected Kaybobo and Tracy, and Kaybobo chose Tracy and Koyin. Rooboy nominated Imisi and Isabella.

This twist in the nomination process adds a new layer of complexity to the show, as contestants must now strategically consider their nominations to advance in the competition. The outcome of the Sunday live eviction show will be determined by the cumulative votes from the public and the housemates’ nominations. As the season progresses, viewers can expect more surprises and challenges that will test the contestants’ abilities and relationships. The introduction of the traditional nomination process has significant implications for the contestants, and it remains to be seen how they will adapt to this new development.
