The nominations reflect the diversity and richness of African music, with artistes from various regions and genres represented.

In May, it was announced that Nigeria would host the 2025 AFRIMA, marking a significant opportunity for the country to showcase its vibrant music industry. The awards ceremony is expected to bring together African music stakeholders, including artistes, producers, and industry professionals, to celebrate the continent’s musical talent. With the nominees announced, attention now turns to the upcoming awards ceremony, which promises to be a spectacular celebration of African music. The event is slated to take place in Nigeria, further solidifying the country’s position as a hub for African music and entertainment.
