Wuthering Waves 2.6 Update Introduces Two New Resonators: Augusta and Iuno

The latest update to Wuthering Waves, version 2.6, has introduced two new Resonators: Augusta and Iuno. Both characters bring unique abilities to the game, with Augusta serving as a primary DPS unit and Iuno acting as a support character.

Augusta is an Electro main DPS unit capable of dealing significant damage, with most of it being classified as Heavy Attack DMG. Her abilities can be further enhanced by characters such as Iuno, Morteffi, and Phrolova, who can buff Heavy Attack DMG. Additionally, Yinlin can buff Electro DMG, providing Augusta with flexible team options. Augusta’s enhanced Resonance Liberation also allows her to stop time, including timers in endgame content, enabling her to deal damage without interruption.

Iuno, on the other hand, is a support character who can provide healing and buff Heavy Attack DMG. Her Outro Skill is particularly useful when paired with Augusta and Jiyan. Iuno’s Forte Circuit can also provide stackable DMG Amplification, but this is limited to Resonators who can stack up to 10 shields, making her team options restrictive.

Given the limited gacha currency, players may face difficulty in obtaining both characters. When deciding between the two, Augusta is the better option due to her impressive damage-dealing capabilities and versatility in team composition. Iuno’s potential is largely limited to her pairing with specific characters, making her a less desirable choice for players who do not have Jiyan or are not interested in playing Augusta.

The introduction of these new Resonators offers players fresh possibilities for team composition and strategy. As the game continues to evolve, players will need to adapt and make informed decisions about which characters to prioritize. With the current state of the game, Augusta’s value in Electro-related content makes her a highly sought-after character.
