Eagles Lane Johnson celebrates end of summer with fiancee

Lane Johnson’s fiancée, Kelsey Holmer, has reflected on the passing of summer, sharing a series of photos on Instagram from her August adventures with the Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle. The photos included a fishing trip and a cookout with some of Johnson’s teammates, such as Landon Dickerson and Jordan Mailata.

Holmer accompanied her post with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s song “August,” expressing her sentiments about the month ending sooner than expected. The couple’s summer has been filled with celebration, following the Eagles’ Super Bowl win in February and their engagement in April.

As the NFL season approaches, Johnson is preparing for his 13th season, seeking to repeat the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory. Holmer has been supportive, attending training camp and counting down the days until the home opener at Lincoln Financial Field. She also reunited with other Eagles significant others at the “EaGals” welcome brunch, an event aimed at fostering camaraderie and support among the players’ partners.

The Eagles, as reigning Super Bowl champions, will kick off the 2025 NFL season with a game against their NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, on Thursday. The team will also raise their 2025 Super Bowl banner during the Week 1 matchup. With the new season underway, Johnson and the Eagles are looking to build on their previous success, and Holmer will likely continue to be a visible presence in supporting her fiancé and the team.
