Spiranac was seen sitting courtside at Arthur Ashe Stadium, wearing a fitted black halter-neck jumpsuit, complete with a gold chain belt and small gold hoop earrings. She expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating that the US Open is one of her favorite sporting events. Her drink of choice for the night was the Fritzy spicy margarita.
As the official tequila sponsor of the US Open, Dobel Tequila was also featured in Spiranac’s stories. She was seen carrying a glass of the tequila and raising it to the camera, captioning the photo “Cheers to an amazing night!” Spiranac’s appearance at the US Open came during a break from her role as a commentator and on-air personality in the Grass League, a high-stakes par-3 golf league.
With over four million Instagram followers, Spiranac’s mix of golf, media, and lifestyle content continues to garner attention. Her presence at the US Open drew significant interest, with many eyes on her as much as the matches being played. Although she never played drunk, she joked that maybe having a drink during rounds could have made a difference. Spiranac’s amateur career showed promise, but she retired from competitive golf in 2016 at the age of 23. However, she made a brief return to action in 2023 at the Creator Classic at East Lake, a special exhibition held before the Tour Championship.
The Creator Classic has since become a recurring event, with the PGA Tour adding three more editions to the schedule by 2025.
